In today's evolving society, the roles and expectations placed on a woman
have transformed significantly. Women are not only stepping into positions
of leadership and influence but are also redefining what it means to be empowered.
Among the qualities that contribute to a woman's strength and success,
honorable conduct and self-reliance stand out as essential attributes and
that's what we as Mpoma School uphold.
Honorable conduct entails adherence to ethical principles, integrity,
and respect for oneself and others. We teach our girls to be honest,
empathetic, respectful, responsible, and accountable.
In regard to self-reliance, we instill confidence in one's abilities,
judgment, and decisions. Leadership programs, community service,
and extracurricular activities help our girls grow resilient and independent.
Through peer support groups, foster families, and emotional wellness
counseling, we prepare our learners to navigate life with grace,
determination, and confidence.
By cultivating these virtues, we empower our girls to become confident
leaders who inspire positive change in society.

THE RATIONALE OF ICT IN THE NLSC IMPLEMENTATION
As of 2026, the New Lower Secondary Curriculum has transformed
learning across Uganda. At Mpoma School Mukono, ICT serves
as the backbone of this transition...
As of 2026, the implementation of Uganda's New Lower Secondary Curriculum (NLSC)
has transformed from a pilot phase into a standardized framework nationwide.
At Mpoma School Mukono, ICT is not a standalone subject but a cross-cutting
tool supporting learner-centered, competency-based education.
ICT enables learners to research independently, engage actively using
multimedia tools, and apply knowledge through digital projects.
Through partnerships such as with UICT, Mpoma School has established
e-Libraries, Learning Management Systems, and advanced digital pedagogy.
ICT integration also strengthens administration through improved reporting,
financial management, and efficient resource allocation.
Despite challenges, Mpoma School remains committed to a digitally empowered
learning environment aligned with Uganda's Vision 2040.
